| I decided to mod my holder as the stock one is huge (all right not as big as the American one) and will soon be damaged. I made a bracket that attaches to the tail light mounts and placed the numberplate light above the tail light it just fits. I then made a plastic holder and attached it to the origonal mounts with spacers and new bolts. It relplaces this. I removed 575g and added 250g making it 325g lighter than stock and a lot less damage prone.

| As to the plate light, you can buy bolts with LED lamps in them that hold the plate in place AND light it up as well, that is what I use on mine, work great. | |

I coppied this off the site: Fits to all existing mountings, the only alteration is to connect the new LED numberplate light-connectors supplied. I got around to taking more pics of my mod. This is the bit I removed.

| Hey WRRSam I finally got the GYTR licence plate holder on - it has instructions to cut back the black plastic under the tail light which will then shine light on the plate - although it says this is still not road legal.
I am going to purchase a bolt with light and use the existing wiring from the old licence plate light and place in the middle of the licence plate.
Will post pics soon - but it looks heaps better now than the stock - really surprised at how heavy the whole tail light assembly was... scared to think how heavy those huge American models are!!!

| Would any of you folks who removed all of your OEM Non-US parts be willing to ship them to the USA? I would be very interested in those parts you removed for my US spec bike. Thanks! | |
