| Hey.. I LOVE ADVrider.com and everyone there is awesome (many which are here too), but man the WRR monster thread is out of control, its like being in a conversation with 50 people and everyone is asking questions at the same time There's a lot of good stuff in that thread and continues to be, but in general, I see many good questions just over looked due to the large amount of traffic.. we need all those questions/answers over here so they are all broken up in categories and easier to search.. Ok.. just had to .. for a sec.... i'm gonna put this forum in my signature as well.. I don't see how one thread can house all the info going further on our incredible gem of a bike! | |

| That was part of the reason why this place was uprighted, to streamline stuff so one could find stuff at a glance instead of having to go thru 500+ pages to find something that nobody answered. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

Makes sense to me It took so long to read through that thread, but it definitely persuaded me to get the bike after seeing it in the showroom most of the summer (and kept me away from that KaTooM which I still kind of want ).

I think that's true of all of ADV. I have been following Sport-touring.net since 2002 or so, and it has just the right number of threads and posts for me to follow. With this WR forum up, I now have two that I follow regularly.

| I like the ease of use, and that the people on here are awesome. ADV is a great site but I found it hard to keep up if I couldn't get on every day. TT is another one, but I find there are a lot of questionable people on there, and a lot of stupid shit goes on in there. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| I said 'questionable' not 'loveable.' Wait a minute...did I hear SPAM again? Oh no, that was just a water logged rat. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| her then ---> me now ----> But enough about my sex life. We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.... So my question is why the hell did the folks at ADV let such a thread get so out of hand? It should have been locked after maybe 20-30 pages and they should have setup a new section for this bike. But it's not all ADV's fault. People keep posting to the same thread instead of starting a new are just as much to blame. What would have been so hard about starting a few new threads over there? I wouldn't even think of posting to a thread that long, and HOPE that my question about a post 50 pages ago will be answered by the OP. I doubt anyone has the time now to sit down and sort it all out. Lots of good info IF you can find it. Hopefully many of those peeps will (or have already) posted the same info over here. | |

| It's not really that hard to find info in that thread if you know what you're looking for, just forget the forum search tools. Google is your friend. Just tonight I was remembering someone posting about using a Laminar lip for a KLR and I found the post in just a few minutes. I googled: site:www.advrider.com laminar wr250r Four of the first 5 hits took me to the discussion, 2 of them to the page of user Levity's original post. If Levity sees this, thanks! I just ordered one. ;-) You just have to come up with a good key word for your search. I was golden with "laminar". ps. not to take anything away from this forum, it's all good, especially if its about R². | |

| gordo, Please holler back and tell us what you think of the Lip. I'd like something simple like that, too. Thanks also for the search tip. Sarah - gordo5 wrote:
