What is this "ultimate air box mod" I keep hearing about?

I see it mentioned in several WRR discussions but when I search for it nothing comes up. I have an FMF Q4 and I just ordered a fuel programmer and I'm wondering if it's worth doing anything to the air box, other than the flapper removal which I have already done.

The website that was showing this mod is down (even though the site banner can be seen at the top of this site's main page).
Ironically, I think (not certain) that the current member pic at the top of the home page is the guy who gets credit with this mod.
Either him or another guy going by the name of Highfive.

If you get your Google foo going, you will learn about it.

Basically, it is removing the flapper, plugging the rubber hose leading to the throttle body, and removing plastic from the duct of the glued-and-plastic-riveted-down top of the airbox.
In other words, you're removing the intake noise restriction that also cuts down the amount of air that can enter the airbox.

On my 2008 WR250R and WR250X, I went with the flapper removal.
I did remove the top of the airbox, entirely, for a short while (as I wrote, it's attached with plastic dome-headed rivets and some kind of silicone sealant), but decided the intake honk was irritating because it sounded like shit.

I had similar issues when trying to Google this mod. I'm still a noob here, and unable to post links to what I managed to find  
It's still Greek to me though, since my motor, airbox, and exhaust remains stock.
Someone here is bound to have better intel. Hang in there

I'd like to add that there is a much easier way to do this mod, I figured it out while doing it the way the guy in the link did it...

Simply remove the flappers actuator then stick a large drift or screw driver in the hole it leaves and smack it with a hammer.
The whole flapper setup will fall into the air box, you open the air box door and remove it and your done, it took as long to type this as it does to do the ultimate air box mod.
