| I snugged my GPS mount up too tightly to the wire that goes into the clutch assembly, it snapped off and now I can't start the bike in gear. Is there a way to bypass it or do I need to replace it? What is the purpose of this wire in the first place?! | |

| Not sure. Checked mine thinking it was a sidestand over-ride swith (allowing you to start bike with clutch pulled in and bike in gear)... but mine won't start trying that... so | |

| Update... Just checked mine again, and this time it DID work as a sidestand over-ride switch. Was able to start it in gear, clutch pulled in, sidestand down. Meaning;
- If you LIKE having the sidestand interrupt feature... FIX the clutch wire/switch, or never be able to start in gear w/ sidestand down.
- If you DON'T like the sidestand switch, disable the clutch wires you are having issues with, (always able to start in gear, side stand down, no clutch pulled... also able to ride sidestand down )and then you may as well remove the sidestand switch while you are at it, since it would essentially be useless after the clutch switch mod.
