WR250R seat height

On Wed. I called a Yamaha dealer to see if they had a WR250R on the floor so I could stop by and take a look. The salesman told me they did not have one at the dealership and that it is old technology and nobody is buying them any more. This really surprised me, as all my internet research indicates that this is one of the best dual sport motorcycles available today. My main concern is the seat height. I sat on a DR650 and the 35" seat height was workable. Is it fairly easy to get a WR250R to the 35" height without affecting the performance of the suspension?

Yes, the seat height is lower then a dr650. I would say it is around 33 inches but one can lower it as needed.

Some salesman are idiots! They also try really hard to sell whats on the floor not order in what you want.
I know a guy that went into the Honda dealer with cash to buy a foot shift atv and the salesman tired to sell him everything but so he left, if the salesman would've listened to him at all he would've sold an atv lol.

They sell a lot more ktms, crfs and klx250s around here than wr250rs tho, guys either want a plated race bike or a really cheap bike with poor performance not something 1/2 way between like the wrr.

I was thinking maybe the dealership is dropping Yamaha or something. Was very surprised and disappointed to hear his comments.

I'll bet the dealer saw the rear shock assembly and mistook it for a flux capacitor from the 80's...
