swingarm wear

I'm new member to the site, been a lurker for a long time Anybody ever see a slide wear a swingarm like this. I,m not sure how to prevent it from wearing through
the swingarm

I've seen this on other bikes.

The fix is gluing the slider to the swingarm so it cant vibrate and wear into the swingarm.
Automotive goop works well for gluing it, it really sticks to plastic and aluminum, like gluing anything prep work is key, get it nice and clean before gluing.

Biglake, Thank you I have arm off i'll give it a good cleaning maybe i'll JB the groove first before i glue it JB holds real well to aluminum. Haven't made up my mind to paint or polish the swingarm
