| I carry a spare 21" inner tube, tire repair tools, and hand pump in a Wolfman Enduro Carry All bag above my headlight number plate. Any other miscellaneous small tools that I might need in addition to the stock tool kit, like wrenches required to reposition bent handguards etc., are usually carried in my backpack. Sometimes I carry a small bag on my rear fender rack, either with or without a Rotopax 1 gallon fuel container. I also carry a Leatherman multi-tool, a few assorted spare bolts, black cable ties in a few different sizes, and a spare master link that fits my chain. It's amazing what you can do with a Leatherman and a few cable ties. The photo below is after I busted my front fender to bits during a gravity storm encountered on my Beta 300 Xtrainer: | |

I've never been overly successful drilling holes with my leatherman. -morgan

-morgan For the black ties applied on the trail I just used the awl attachment on my classic Leatherman and twisted it back and forth like a drill bit. It was fairly easy. I installed the white ties and reattached the longer piece of fender once I was back home. I drilled those holes with a regular drill.

| Here's what I carry as tools and spares so far. Combination of stock tool kit plus 1/4" and 3/8" sockets and levers. Not shown are the Air and go inflator and the 21" HD tube that goes in the other compartment in the Klim Nak Pak (hydration backpack). Still need to get a tube patch kit, spark plug, clutch and throttle cables. | |
