Michelin T63 Rear Motorcycle Tire 120/80-18

I ordered the Michelin T63 Rear Motorcycle Tire 120/80-18 after 3600miles on stock tire that's about 80percent worn out. I haven't seen any reviews on this tire. Looks good, seems to be better than stock tires. It was hard to find any tires in stock and couldn't find the d606 in stock anywhere but found these and liked it so I bought it. Suppose to arrive by Thursday and hopefully have it installed for weekend

We've been running T63's front and rear on our bikes for years now (DR650 and KLX250), and I just ordered a set for the new WR. I really like them, but they are getting harder to find. I picked up the last set in stock at Motorcycle Superstore, and from what I've heard, they are discontinued...

I also like the t63. They are very dirt capable for a 50/50 tire.  The only place I felt they lacked was thick mud.

That new tire is not as good on road as stock one, about 5-10percent less of grip, and haven't off road with it yet though. But having a extra inch of rubber compared to the old worn down ones it has more top end/doesn't rev as high at same speed and about 5mph extra before I shift than old worn out ones.

I wore out a number of sets on a KLR and a DRz, just got them on the WR. A great tire for the money.

How are you measuring speed for this statement? Stock speedo wouldn't change... The sensor is before the tire so it would be the exact same reading at the same rpm. That's why if you have a calibrator, you have to adjust for rear tire size...

Looks like the T63 is on the way out. A 130/80-18 is available but no 120. Anyone know if the larger one will work?

I've used the T63 on my DR650 and really liked it... also interested to know if anyone has installed the 130 on the WRR and how it worked out. Wish they hadn't ended that tire... Maybe I'll go with an IRC TR8 if the wider T63 is too wide.
