Just mounted a Maxxis M7320 rear tire this afternoon. This tire was designed in conjunction with KTM for the Freeride 250. It has the side lugs with trials center section.
- Super sticky - 4.00-18" rear - Cost @ $80 on Amazon - Gearing 13/48
Rode a 20-mile loop in the hills above my house, mostly rock, loose sand, and loose granite. Didn't really get into the working out the tire pressure so I ran it at @ 17 psi. Felt pretty stable on the road to the trail, pulling 45-50 on the dirt roads and it felt stable enough. In the hills I was pretty impressed, it definitely gets traction.

I definitely look forward to hearing how these do over time. Great price. I've read about other tires that mix in trials lugs that they are awesome for traction can struggle a bit in sand and mud. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to comment on the sand part! Cheers.

Rode a nice loop today just outside of Trona, CA. About 150 miles of varying terrain on the new tire set up. Lots of rock, sand, tons of climbing and down hills. The tire did really well for me, no issues to speak of. Ran in kind of hard, @ 12-15 psi. I know you can run these lower but with rim locks or really clear route, I knew there would be some road sections.
500 miles of pretty rough trail. I flipped it at 250ish to even out the wear.
The Tire does exceptionally well at 10 psi in the desert where I primarily ride. I'm running 2 rim locks for the rear with Dyna Beads for some balancing. Tons of sand, loose rock, hardpack, granite, shale, and deep sand. Performs well enough for me on faster sections.
