T63 Rears...

I've got less than 150 miles on my 2010 WR250R and have already ordered two T63 rear tires to replace the Bridgestone stockers.

On my Dakar these were the perfect dual sport tire, handling both tarmac and off-road great. I had laid in two sets of T63s (90/90-21 front and 130/80-17 rear) for the Dakar, so I'll use the 21s on the new bike and a buddy is buying the 17s for his KLR.

I expect the T63s to last even longer on the WR, since it's about 150 pounds lighter.

Did you decide on the 120 or 130?

Well if 2 ex F650 folk post, shouldn't a third?

I'm going to put on D606's after the Thumper Thaw this year. May drop to a 12 tooth CS to compensate for the larger rear tire.

120... I figure until I do some performance mods the 120 will be better.

Even after performance mods you better stick to 120. Any larger is just more unsprung weight and more rotational weight for the little 2 fiddy to spin.

If you don't mind, eyeball that rear tire and give me an idea of height compared to the stock tire. I'm hoping the T63 is fairly low profile, I'm on tiptoes as it is. Thanks so much.

Still have my F 650. Spooned new T 63s on the WR today. Have 212 miles on the odo.
Have not seen you since Ohio lucked out and best Texas a few years ago.
