Wow Scott, nice bus!! What is that, a Blue Bird Special?

Actually, the "bus" I drive is an Airbus A330... but the "blue bird" special you're referring to is about to go through some cosmetic changes as soon as I get back to the USA.

That would explain the 4 bars on the epaulettes, and the wings pinned to your shirt.

I'll bet your wrr goes through an extensive pre-ride inspection.

True... but the picture above is a tad misleading. I am currently a First Officer on the A330 and the picture above is of when I was a Captain on a smaller jet a few years ago.

As far as the "pre-flight" inspection of the WRR goes... I'm going to say that I definitely look it over, but from what I've read here on the forum, there are folks here that really get into the details.

Sweet stuff! I bet you must get some pretty amazing pictures while out and about and not stuck in the cockpit.

Lynn... yes, there are some fantastic places I go to that are great for photos. I just bought a new camera for just that reason. Now if I can only figure out how to use it.

Other than the obvious I could get use to getting stuck on the trail with THAT pit crew !

Could be worse for sure... but every dream job has it's downside. Just sayin'...

At this point I'm feeling fortunate to even have a job at all.
