I REALLY need to get a decent camera...and a GPS...and other stuff...awesome shots, Rick! How would you compare your Nikon to the Rebel?

Thanks for sharing once again and I can only hope I get one of those kinds of shots in my lifetime. For you it’s an everyday occurrence 17 July 2009 Bull Mountain Storm 61865

I don't have a Nikon. I have a Pentax K10d. The Pentax's aren't the best at everything - their autofocus is a little slow - but they are really tough, no other camera in this price range is as waterproofed and dust proofed. And it is really nice to have the shake reduction built into the camera body instead of having to pay for it in every single lens you buy.

Woops, my bad. Thought it was a Nikon. 17 July 2009 Bull Mountain Storm 986936 You still take awesome shots. Anyone can take a pic but you manage to capture the feeling in every one you've posted.
