| Well after lurking here for 6 months, and getting to know the WR through other peoples experiences, i finally picked up a spotless 08 ridden by a little old man to church on sunday type deal. So many mods to do so little money. Cheers Brett | |

So many mods to do so little money. Cheers Brett VERY sweet lookin' bike ya got there! Welcome to the forum! Dunno how they handle emissions down under, but you can make several mods free or very close to it. Removal of the AIS and Flapper mod are basic mods that can be done on the cheap while you save up for other mods.

So many mods to do so little money. Cheers Brett He rode a WR to church!!???!! WTF?!?! I might have to start getting religious Cool bike - I assume the Ozzy version is identical to UK/Euro versions (???) There seem to be quite a few differences from the North American market, probably due to emmissions controls & also higher octane petrol in UK: regular is 95.

I'm not sure there is a huge amount of difference as all the mods Ive read about are all from U.S. websites and so far I've found no difference except for the size of the tail/brake lights and indicators that come stock on the U.S. bikes ..... "Ridden (or driven) to church by a little old man on Sundays" is a term we use in Australia for something that has hardly been used and in excellent condition........ I assume that's what you meant Brett ??

| yeah, "ridden to church on sunday". You forget local sayings don't always translate well on international forums. | |

| I was just taking the mick (as they say!). Anyway, often see stuff advertised locally as 'never raced or ralleyed', or 'one careful lady owner' etc. Mind you, I would prefer to buy something that has been driven/ridden CORRECTLY, i.e. not thrashed, but not kept for months in a garage, and also serviced & cleaned at the very least to the manufacturer's recommendations. It always worries me when you see a bike still advertised 6 months later on a stealers dealers website | |

| I'm actually going to be in Melbourne in July... now if I only could bring my WRR along, you could show me all the places to go riding. | |

| You could always partially disassemble it and toss it in the cargo hold.... _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |
