My Yamalink lowering link came today so after work I installed it, lowered the fork tubes about 9/16" or 14mm, then I went for a ride, about 5 miles of trails. What a difference the ride was much better, the bike handled better and it was only lowered about 1" or 25mm.
I would recommend this, it took less than an hour to do including the fork adjustment. The cost off ebay was $150 no shipping cost (in U.S.). YAMALINK ! 61865

Did you need to change/alter your kick stand?

This a Q for anyone who has put on the yamalink...

Does the lowered aspect require "shortening" of the kick stand in order to have an adequate lean over angle?

My WR has a yamalink with a chopped kick stand...seems to lean over quite a bit...thinking of putting a fresh OEM kickstand back on there.

Stand-up stability is marginal, but sufficient with the OEM.

...and (guessing) probably better with non-OEM (knobby) tires.

Got a new OEM stand on the bike. Much better. It was leaning over too much before...that's clear. Thanks for the input.
