My tail got destroyed

So I decided to go practice some wheelies in a deserted parking lot and as title implies I destoryed my Tail... sort of.. All was going well I was getting it up with a pull and the gas... Then i decided to clutch it... Fell off the bike and held on the handlebars.. My bike's tail was scraping the ground and somehow i managed to keep the bike straight and make it do a 180 to land it back on the rubber side. So my flashers are untouched, my tail light is ok but all the plastic and what holds the plate is gone...

So Brooks, I'mma need one of those DRC Edge kit... :O

Oh dear... Better the bike's tail than YOUR tail.

Sorry to hear, but a pre and post fix picture would be interesting to see. It will probably end up looking a lot sleeker too.

I thought pictures of tail on this sight was verboten.

...but if not, I'm not shy. I'll take a look.

Hack it the rest of the way off and install a universal plate mount with two LED plate bolts. Pitch the plate up on an angle for more aero dynamics and you'll love your 'mod':)

Then, took it apart, and replaced with DRC edge kit!


Then added while being there, the fmf programmer / powerbomb and Q4, Zeta Handguards SpeedoDRD and 12T front sprocket. Removed Exup and openned the airbox.


It's much much better :)

Thats not bad.... I also broke my taillight, but I already had it tucked...





Didnt know a tail rack doubles as a wheelie bar did you?

Was able to make it all better though...

That's one way to trim a fender.

...and make an air spoiler out of a tail rack !
