Overspending is paying too much for crap. Like 400$ on shoes. or 1000$ on a purse...

Now 1) Forest makes good wheels at a fair price. and 2) 2 set of wheels is way cheaper than 2 bikes.

I see it as saving money and being smart! In short, buying the wheels is totally listening to the cookie. You just understood it wrong at first glance :P

Holy Chit your right!!!!! I was totally looking at it the wrong way!!

Hmmmm... this is what they call, a dilemma.

Let's look at a few facts.

1. With a little help from my Forest I sure am liking my WR250X/R

2. Buying a set of wheels may not be 'overspending', it depends on a lot of things.

3. Motorcycling will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no motorcycling.

4. What do Pandas really know about fiscal restraint anyway?!?

From these observations, may you deduce the correct course of action for the circumstances in question.

true, but my plan is to sell my other 2 dirtbikes first then get these wheels.

think about it this way: by spending the money for dirt wheels, you can spend less on tires. now while at first glance this makes zero sense seeing as how you're now buying two sets of tires for the bike, it really is true. really. i swear. by spending less money on dirt tires than you do on street tires, and then (supposedly) saving your pricey street tires for when you know you'll put them to good use, you'll overall be spending slightly less on tires per year than if you were "wasting" your pricey street tires on times when you are just commuting, playing in the mud/dirt/gravel, etc.

see? it really works! i bet in 5-10 years time you'd even break even on the whole thing!

I thought you recently bought a KTM or something. Why do you want to go dirt on the WR now?

Maybe we can work something out. I wanted a X but could only find an R on the island. You up for a wheel trade?

yea i have a couple bikes, just looking to get a set of knobbies so i have more options. I dont want to get rid of my X wheels yet. I hope to do a nice long trip on big island and would like to have knobbies for that and other reasons...
