SoupSandwich's WReX "Blue to White......and now to RED!!!"

Here a few pics of what I have done lately:
I did a little redecorating with the stock graphics.





I got tired of the white side panels..........Krylon Fusion Satin Black.......

Lookin pretty sharp, my man! The black really sets it off. You going to do the heat shield too?

Why thank you...... I am still deciding if I am or not. What do you think?

If it were me I would...it's the only thing really that doesn't...quite...match.

Well lets see what it looks like.............. "rattle rattle" I will post a pic when I get it done.

Here is the finished exhaust guard......

That is badass... It's like...sleek, stylin' and stealthy.

What kind of paint did you use? Being that close to the engine would you need to use some high temp paint? That looks good though I might need to look into getting that painted as well.

You will need a high temp paint, otherwise it'll flake right off.

Nope. Just used the same Krylon Fusion.

Has held up just fine.

You got lucky! Most of the normal paint I've seen applies to hot stuff flakes like a bad case of the cooties. Nice that it works!

I painted that piece too, but I used 600 degree stove paint that I had in the garage. It definitely ain't flaking off.

Weather and time permitting I'm gonna try to hit that big open area at C&D just north of Chesapeake City bridge on the north side.

Thanks, I like yours too. Looks nice and clean. I want to take the factory stickers off mine, but I want to replace them with retro Yamaha themed stickers. I got the rim stripes off Ebay.

Yep sure did.....I also took the emblem from the headlight graphic and put it on top of the tank. I couldnt believe how easy those graphics came off and that I was able to stick it back on with no problem.

*UPDATE* More pics...........

F-n hot... Can we get the wallet out now and add a few CF bits (frame guards and reservoir) ?

I'd even go with the black w/ white graphic fork guards.

Next: Powder coat the foot levers ?

That bike just begs "Ride me ! Ride me ! Ride me !" ...like She Wolf's, but different.
