| I rode to work yesterday since Northern Cal is experiencing the indian summer type weather. The morning was nice and warm. The afternoon sucked as I was blasted by hot 96+ headwinds on the freeway the entire ride home. Trying to pass vehicles uphill with a head wind sucked in 6th, and was a nogo as I was WFO and only going 66 mph. | |

Did you try shifting down to 5th? Yea, droped to 5th and bumped the speed up to 73. I did not realize I was at the end as this is the first time I ever had the throttle pinned. At the time, I figured I'll give it some more gas to get the speed up....well no more throttle. For a second I thought something was wrong with the bike. Looked down, no engine lights... and then I realized, oh yea, shift down, this is only a 250. | |
