Oil Filler Cap Leak Misting Empty

Has anyone else noticed light oil misting around the area of the oil filler cap ? It's not a major leak with dripping, just some misting that seems to collect around the area over time. I'm guessing either too much oil or the fill cap rubber seal needs replacing (the cap is on tight).

I don't have a picture, but in twinct's post on replacing the clutch push lever seal it looks similar...

Is the cap too tight- try backing off a bit to prevent deforming the seal.
