| Landing 'er in the flats like that isn't that much fun. Looks like you may want to adopt the "Bubba Scrub" there Gus. | |

| ....as evidenced by the picture with the suspension bottomed out.
Makes my ankles hurt looking at it (but I'm old).
I can only imagine the smile under your helmet. That's all that matters.
Where were you ? We'll be in Cal City this W/E at Camp "C".
Look for a (red/white striped) Dirt Diggers Club flag.
Cheers.... | |

| My camera is extra special.
It's a Casio HS (high speed) model, it's the EX-FC100 and it has two amazing features that let me do what I do:
1. The ability to be set up to not take a picture until it sees you ride by, and-
2. The ability to take 30 pictures in a single second as soon as it sees you.
So, I set up the camera, point it at the top of the jump, tell it to wait until it sees me and then take 30 pictures in one second. Bingo, throw the other 28 away and you have the peak of the jump and the bottom and anything inbetween... | |

| Just make sure you NEVER buy it at Best Buy, they wanted $299 for it and I found it online from the East Coast, no tax, free shipping for $225...

| Gus,
What do they call that self timing picture mechanism in your camera? I was looking at the manual and it was not clear to me how you got your camera to wait for you to pass in view before taking the high speed shots.
Edit: Wait. You must be using the "Move in CS" mode. Cool stuff. Any tips on how you set it up?

| Make sure you set the activation window to where you will be appearing, and size it correctly. Set the sensitivity to medium, and then manke sure you don't accidentally set it off with your shadow or by moving the camera. Then do your jump, and viola, instant 30 shots one fo which will be perfect... | |
