Did a lap around a friends farm and realised it was to wet so we thought we'd go find somewhere else, the adventure only stars when you don't know when your going I realised I need some better tyres, the stock ones turn to slicks in the clay, meet up with some friends for a BBQ afterwards on the farm, great day

West, South West and South East Gympie, no plans just rough ideas on these few 1 dayers, just go out and find some trails to ride for 5-6hrs, were we live we are lucky as the town is surrounded by great places to ride

G'Day Combo
Looks like thats 4 WRR,s in this neck of the woods - your 2, one other down my way plus mine. I thought I was in a vacuum as I have not seen another WRR in the bush yet. Great photo's.
Cheers

Now that's the pic Yamaha needs to be using in their ads! That is all about what I bought the bike for.

The only International Rally held in QLD this year was in our backyard so we thought we would have a look, turn your speakers up to the max and you will feel a part of the experience, hope they come back next year as we stumbled on some great spectator spots, orsm cars, I hear they can cost up to 200k
This ^ hill was a beast, the pic (only showing 1/3) does it no justice, I did a endo with the front brakes going down someone with advanced skills could get my bike up but I think I'd wreak my bike trying

Yeh mate, I haven't seen any other WRR's around either, mostly DR's are the occasionally orange bikes, some days we won't even see other bikes, you WRR guys are always welcome to ride with us if you want to experience the Gympie area, so many great places to ride here and they aren't as rutted as the trails down south

Thanks for the offer - will definatley like to catch up for a ride. Beerburrum gets really busy as its the closest area to Brisbane now. With all the rain it has been like a swamp too. I gather a lot of Mt Mee has been closed off. Had a great ride on Sunday out of Amamoor with the Pro Honda shop ride - didnt see any other bikes at all. All the other bikes were pure enduro - managed to get up and down everything that the did. Give me couple of weeks and I will give you a call.
Cheers for now

Travelled up some steep and slippery hills, this one for the view...
...Had a few little offs also, all good, we seem to find new trails every time we go out which makes things fun also tried out a contour helmet cam but none of the footage was good, we are going out again this Sat, I think I've sorted the issues and should have some good footage

Went to a new area, didn't know what to expect, here is what we found
Tried mounting the countour 1080p under the brim of my helmet but it faces just a little to down, will try it again with a mount on the side of the helmet

Not sure if changing your tires would help to be honest... clay is clay!
Hey just a question, do you find the modified WRR to be quicker than the unmodified one?

Clay is clay but with more tread depth and pattern does help and yes a Moded WRR is a beast in comparison, feels 20-30% better to me

Yesterday was perfect conditions (if you hate dry sand like me) for where we went we went out to Inskip pt, had a ball in Toolara SF, plenty of fun puddles, none to deep
Found the owned couple a few Ks down the track, they were on their way back after calling a tow truck, nice pair of backpackers, offered water then went on
Beach was great, just enough moisture
Rainy days are always fun
