| I'm with Trav... I think.
Thread title sounds like an obituary... or more likely, a guy having a sex change operation - "My brother is now my sister".
Sad thing to happen to a WRR, I think... you'll probably get more support over in the X area where they admire such things...

| I am about to prepare a part time conversion kit myself, which is going to take some more time, unfortunately. I will be riding indoor supermoto in winter and have fun on small paved roads. What makes you chose those tires? If ever converting it to supermoto style, why not use real road sports tires? I do not get the idea of it. For riding dual sport tires I would prefer cheap WRR stock enduro wheels.
Regards, Phil

| Your bike looks awesome, really. What's the price difference on the tires if you don't mind? _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

Nah, the bike does look awesome. I'm just a dirt oriented guy is all. You'd probably think my bike was pretty fugly if you were looking at the pictures of it here. You won't find me critiquing tire selection - I run the stock Trailwings and they work perfectly fine for the dirt and road conditions around here and my style of riding. You've got a pretty nice ride there for a guy your age. My street bikes at your age were second hand RD350s with basement porting jobs done by guess...

Oh, I like your bike, you can be sure. Its just I was wondering about the tires since I would pretty much sign Jägers words with the stock trailwings, that I rode even in dirt and mud, which was at least possible. These are nice dual sport tires and I do not see any point in a supermoto conversion as long as you do not fit real sporty tires, which would bring lots of riding fun. I got myself Pilot Power tires which were very cheap that time. Also I have got a great brake system with radial pump and 4 piston radial caliper. However, due to several incidents I cannot afford the wheels right now, so I need to wait. :) Phil

| +1 vote for a good looking bike. Don't forget to remove your Mountain Dew can before you ride it though or you will have a sticky mess... Oh wait... Nice added character. |
