So any predictions?
GSP or Shields
Couture or Machida

Unbelievable ticket sales for the event, can you imagine how loud it will get when GSP lands his first blow

Hey...someone else who likes the UFC. Good deal. I never pay to watch, but love to catch the reruns on Versys network.

As I tell people......the only real sports involve motors, blood, and/or fists......everything else is just a hobby. Very happy

I watch sometimes. Usually only when my buddies buy it. It's a good excuse to get drunk and eat some food. I don't follow enough to make a prediction.

GSP has a training program like no other. He is gonna be tuff to beat plus he will probably outweigh Shields by 20 lbs going into the ring. Should def be a dam good fight though. I think the Couture Machida fight could go either way but either way this will be Coutures last rodeo. The prelims on Spike look good too. I am a Nate Diaz fan and really like to watch him fight. A bit flashy, alot cocky, but can def back it up. There's my 3 cents worth. thumb

You guys all pay to watch this stuff live?? I love watching it, but no way can I justify the $40+ costs for it.

It's a good way to spend a sat nite when u and 4 or 5 of ur buddies all pitch in 15 or 20 bucks each and get 1/4 bbl of ur favorite brew and some food.

I paid for the last PPV but the fight sucked azz and I ain't doing it again
I think Machida will retire Randy and I will be sad, I would really like to see the GSP / Shields fight but I think GSP is going to win every round
Sure like to see Homenick win his fight, big night for him, Rory macdonald is from Kelowna not far from me, be nice to see him win too, Henderson didn't make weight though

I use to follow the sport very closely. But after watching so many fightes ending quickly or filled with nothing but grappling, I sort of lost interest. Every now and again a match up will peak my interest and I'll go to a local bar and watch. Although, any fights during this time of year are a no go. It's hockey playoff time! As far as I'm concerned, Hockey playoffs are the greatest games in all of sports.

I never pay for the live fights. But the next morning you can always find the entire fight videos online.

GSP over Shields

I wish Homenick would win, but I really think Also is just too good.

Couture will beat Machida with a split decision.

I was so happy Rory beat the shit outa Nate Diaz, I can't stand Diaz.

Only real surprise to me was that kick from Machida. I was hoping Couture could pull off the win. But that was a nice kick.

Whoah dude, Really?
The second I saw the great Steven Seagal at the weigh in's I knew it would end up with a front kick knock out
Randy should have thrown in the towel right there
MMA training has now become pointless, all you need to do is one kick, a front kick, no one has ever seen a front kick used in MMA and there simply is no defense, as long as Steve teaches you

That is one thing i have noticed.....it does not matter how many wins you have, how big and bad you are, or how you fight.......its the guy that happens to get that one shot that stuns the other guy for a couple seconds...it is all it takes.

I have seen guys losing the entire fight, and then get that one awesome shot and knock the guy out. Skill, fitness and training plays a big part, but on any given day, so does luck.

what ever happened to Brock Lesner??

Ya there is always the punchers chance but Machida was just too elusive for couture, he couldn't use his game plan and when that happens the other guy has an advantage, I don't think many people gave couture much of a chance in this one anyway

Cain velasquez crushed Brock lesnar in his last fight
