| Hello everyone! I am new here and looks to be a great deal of good people and great information.
I have an '11 WR250X, which is a blast but I used to love enduro so i am building some R wheels for my X. As I am finding out this is going to be a money pit - HAHA!

| Took it up some pretty narly washed out trails with the X tires, the bike did well till I ran into some mud ruts. Those roae tires are more than adequate on dry areas but no so much on mud, haha!
Waiting for wheels, front brake assembly, skid plate and front wheel spacers. It was fun hitting the trails again.

| Well, thanks for all the wecomes! I finally got my wheels (been a month), and guess what they sent me WR250F wheels which don't fit the X (or R). Brought them back to the dealer and will try the wheels from Wheeling, they sound like what I need, we'll see. Pretty disappointing, waisting alot of good riding.
Yes, October Mtn IS a nice place to ride, lots of places in Berkshire County. Had to get my MASS ATV registration ($40 for two years). Seems that a regular registration and insurance is not enough any more, don't you love it... | |

| Got a set from Forest few years back. Think the new ones are better. Went to yamaha motosports plaza for spare rotors. Makes the swap easy. | |

| Yeah, I got a 49 tooth sprocket and front and rear rotors, also got a whole front brake assembly so I can just swap the wheels and the front brake. | |

| Went with the largest yamaha sprocket, second chain.Wanted it to spool up quicker off road.Added so much more rear wheel dia that the stocker was geared rather low. | |

| Ok, got the new wheels today from Wheeling (very nice, fit exactly as described). The only issue and it is not that much of an issue is, my kickstand is too short now! Haha, the wheels have increased the height of the bike by at least an inch and a half to two inches! I got a 49 tooth rear sprocket and the bike is a freaking bear in the woods now.
Question: will a wr250f or 450f kickstand fit the X? I might have to fabricate a longer kickstand...

| They DEFINITELY stand differently! I thought it would tip over after I took it off the stand and let it come down on the kickstand... | |
