how long did your stock front brake pads last?

mine has about 4300 miles on the odo. and the front pads are looking a bit thin. i thought they would last longer but been doing some stoopies. my rear pads are double the thickness so i use mostly the rear brake now.

i know it's different from bike to bike but how long did your stock pads last? thanks.

I have a wrr and at 11,000 miles , the mechanic I go to told me that my front pads were'nt even half way worn.. I know it's a big difference between the life of pads on an X vs. an R. I just thought I would throw it out there,,I am impressed with the life on my pads so far.......Jason

I have 7251 mile showing on my odometer, which I know is incorrect since I have a speedo corrector, and I'm getting real close to needing new pads.

I'm replacing front and rear pads on Sunday for the first time, just under 25000 miles.

Still on the originals, 12k. Over 3/4 there still.

1865 miles so far.

I'm at 10,000 miles and my original pads still look like new.

replaced mine at 14k. had about 10% left.

me at 6.5k and they look new still, i guess you change them when you do your first valve check
