Landfall has been bumped about 6 hours earlier. Now they're saying 5:00pm-6:00pm for landfall somewhere in southern Jersey. Maybe clipping across Cape May and bashing into Delaware north of Rehoboth Beach.
At any rate the wind and rain is picking up.
Dumped 4.5 inches of water out of rain gauge about 30 minutes ago when I walked dog.

Our week-long heatwave culminated in a nice little thunderstorm last evening. Trees down all over town, still no power in some areas. Tornado warnings nearby. The upside is that the temps dropped from 33C to about 20C in a half hour. We went to a house party, ordered Thai food, and drank vast quantities of alcohol all night

Rain rain and more rain. Saw cars floating in the middle of the street this morning. They launched a boat to get the people out.
