I am thinking of different sprocket set up for my WRR. I see several folks putting a 48t or 49t on the rear with a 112 link chain. I used Gearing Commander to check out how this would affect where the axel may land in the adjustmet range. According to Gearing Commander, with 13t up front the following would result:

48t >> 0.42 inch further than stock set up
49t >> 0.23 inch further than stock set up

Seems like the 48t may use up too much of the adjustment range, if Gearing Commander is accurate. Can anyone share their experience on this?? IS there pleanty of adjustment left using the 48t rear sprocket with 13t up front???

You do know there's and entire sub-section here specific to sprockets and chains right? deal

Any way, here's what my axle adjustment looked like with a 13/48 combo. 112 link chain.
Of course, I'm on an X - not an R....

About as close to centered as you can get.
