Can someone post a side view pic of the their regular mount Scotts damper ? Also, does the pin flex much ? It seems to me that the pin is quite long on the regular mount and would flex somewhat.

I have the submount on mine. Don't know why you'd want the regular mount. The sub tucks it away nicely, and still plenty of room to adjust it.

I agree the submount option is cleaner but requires oversize bars or the use of reducers, raises the bars almost an inch and is $70 more expensive.
I'm OK with the regular mount except for the length of the pin mount.

Gotcha. I can understand that.
For me it was, using reducers right now until I upgrade to fatbars. I like the 1 inch rise, and when you're spending that kinda money, $70 isn't really that much extra to get what I believed was a better product.

Did you need to get a longer clutch or throttle cable when using the submount option?

Nope. Just a bolt on.

My clutch line and brake line seems tight once I went to the FatBar setup. Im afraid if i get the reg. mount Scotts Damper, that they'll be pulled too tight. Anyone else having issues with this?

I've gone with the GPR, and with the additional Rise I want I will run out of clutch and throttle slack - to fix I've ordered some plus length OEM spec cables from Motion pro - they will make them to your request. Not cheap though.

Mark,
Did you have any issues with cable length with the sub mount Scotts ?
