The WR250R is being used as a test mule for a compressed air powered bike. Pretty cool concept.

Awesome...although aside from forks and wheels there's very little of the original R left.

I'd like to see a video, hear it, and know how long it runs on a single tank of air.

Great concept.

I think I spot the rear shock and brake parts also. I agree. There is not not much WR left on it.

What happens in a wreck get the f out
I might go for it though if the aftermath is enough to take out the cager who runs me over too. If I'm going down and the bike promises to take them down with me, im all for it thumb

Last info i read on the prototype developed by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology i believe was 2.5hrs between tank changes @ 60mph. the designer was also working on a solar powered solution for the high pressure compressor to refill the tanks to make it 100% green in operation.

You that scared of a blow job?

What happens in a wreck on your current 250, when you've got a gallon or two of highly flammable liquid right between your legs? eeek

I'd prefer the blow job to being deep fried in gasoline.

The tank I am sure is much more durable than the engine case on the WR. It would probably take a pretty good hit to do any real damage.

If it has even half that range in real life I'd commute on one. On average I drive less than 20 miles a day and typically not more than 60 miles a day if I have a meeting downtown. I normally take surface roads so rarely see more than 65-75mph unless I'm just being a jack ass.
