yes, the skidplate saved my waterpump, good thing to have.

I'm a little bruised, but otherwise OK.

Some pics from this weekend, before the transmission bearing gave up, WTF. A 2008 with only 14000 km on the clock.

So the engine is apart, transmission, forks and drum looks fine, puuh

Found the rest of the bearing inside the case.

What is teh response from Yamaha Scandinavia. 5 Year warranty ?

Since i did not have the bike in for service last year the answer was NO.
