Todays jaunt

This was the end of the ride for me today. Up Beaver Lake Road (for those fellow okanagan peeps). Riding with half bald stock tires limits your terrain this time of year...

YUP! i did a ride just like yours up some loggin roads covered in 3-4ft of snow, a little packed down by some snowmobilers but yea Those Mitas Stoneaters are really something on the snow and on everthing! Mine are treatin me well.

Today I found out that a 280lb bike, falling to the downhill side of a 40degree pitch sucks. Ecpesially when the bike is basically twice my weight.

After all this I am HAPPY I don't have a big DS bike like a few of my buds. They ride a XR650 and another rides a Husky Te610. WRR is a MiniBeast but it will take me anywhere I think I can go. Love this little bike. Getting comfy on it and every ride I find it feeling smaller and smalller (if that makes sense) and easier to ride.

Ouch! That looks it could hurt. Any damage to the rider? How did the bike hold up to the fall?

I am fine and so is the bike. Pays to have armor on the bike. I was only going along in 1st half throttle when I hit a rock, bike jumped sideways, and down she went. Poor girl...

After this incident on monday I went out and bought myself this...

It's a SIXSIXONE Vapor

Went for a ride north of Kelowna this weekend. Did a 170km loop. Much fun. Found this deserted old lumber mill in the outskirts of Oyama

Snapped off mirror, bent foot peg, lost cover to tail light. Muddy. Bruised. Good ride today. Pushing the limits of me and the bike.

This was last Sundays rip. It was a good day but SLICK due to leaves under the snow.

Went for a rip near oyama, bc. Fun day. Found some neat lakes and a hut.

I'm actually thinking of moving out to BC in the spring, maybe earlier.. I'm an industrial electrician apprentice and my contract is up at xmas..

If I can't find anything here, I'm heading west! I miss the mountains..

Wow... it must really suck to only be able to ride mountains with spruce trees an' blue/white water... and remote locations... and...

Yeah... must really suck.

But... I reckon' somebodies gotta' do it... so keep your chin up and keep pluggin' away at it.
