The bottom line is baby clothes are baby clothes.
I stripped my girls the second my wife left me in charge and dressed them in camouflage, motorcycle t-shirts, and other stuff many might consider "boy" stuff.
The bottom line for me was most of the "girly" crap was cumbersome for my kids to play in and if my "boyish" stuff got dirty, ripped, and puked on it wasn't a big deal.
Much easier for little girls to crawl when they are not placing their knees on their dress.
Work the practical side.
Plus - just be a man.
Dress your girl how you want to. Work the gender-role argument. Some strong boyish traits aren't bad for girls.
Boy clothes won't make your little girl a lesbian.
A black Metallica t-shirt on her every now and again won't change who she is.
Have fun with your daughter. It won't be long before you won't have much choice in what she wears.
Enjoy it while you can.
