You guys have been a great community. Lots of help. This past weekend I ended up trading away my wr250x. I found someone who wanted to trade their wr450f for it. It should be to a good home.

Here's the pictures of the new bike.

is that streetlegal??? it looks nice,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I still can't figure out why yamaha doesn't make a streetlegal 450,,,,,I asked a factory rep at the international bike show in newyork and he said something about meeting tougher emission standards,,,sounded like bullshit to me,,,,,if the snowmobile industry can keep up with the emission standards then I'm guessing it shouldn't be that hard to make a 450 streetlegal dirtbike or supermoto............................Jason

I was also told that the 250 engine was already emissions legal in Japan, so it was much easier to bring here, and that getting a new engine like a 450 street legal takes a huge investment, and that right now the engines that are selling are the smaller machines.

So we'll see. I would love to see a WR400R or something like that, but it has to be really light, like as light as the 250 almost...

I see what you are saying CUSIN CA,,,,,but ktm and Husky seems to be able to produce very nice , street legal bikes in all different sizes,,,,,about a month ago I went to a husky dearlership and was looking at the new TE lineup,,,they are very impressive,,,for a second or two I thought ,,I could afford the payments on a new TE 310 or 449,511,,,but then I thought about how much more I would spend on skidplate, handgaurds, ect,,,,and ,I like my WRR,,I decided it fits my style of riding that I do now....................just my two cents,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Jason

The bike is street legal. It is way too much fun. Doesn't feel too much heavier when your riding it, but I'm sure it's got some extra weight to it.

Sounds like a reasonable enough trade. I may do the same one of these days, but probably not until I get a second street bike.
