For the life of me, I am unable to google up the size of an R1 throttle body. Really though, going bigger would probably benefit the top end and maybe get you a couple horses in that dead spot after peak power and before red-line, if the cam and head want to play ball. Would probably hurt around town driveability though unless you made up for it with more compression like the off road 250f models do.

If I recall it is 33mm. I would like to punch it out to 35 or 36mm. I have a throttle body at home I will measure. I was asking the question because I do not want to duplicate someone elses problems/mistakes if it has already been tried. dunno While I am asking has anyone upped the fuel pressure yet?

Oh our stocker is 38mm, google was friendly with that result. Sure as heck wouldnt tell me what an R1 motor runs though (What ours is based on) but I bet they run a 40-43mm
