P.O. muffler hack Empty

I got the WR250R partly to be stealthy. I just got the bike running and took a nice long trail ride, and it seems a little loud for a stock dualsport. So I opened up the muffler to see what was there. Can y'all tell me if this is stock, or has it been modified? How would I fix it?

The bike runs great. Good low end torque, revs out well, and cruises at 65mph actual no problem. I didn't see anything that looked like a programmer on it, and the inlet flapper valve and exhaust pipe valve both appear to be in place.

Here's the spark arrestor. Looks like it's been welded on a bit.

The other end has a 1/2" diameter hole. This can't be stock?

Looking inside the muffler, there are 3 holes in the end of the baffle. Are these supposed to be there?

Here's a closer view.

What can I do to make this thing quieter? I could plug the hole in the spark arrestor, but not sure how to access the baffle down inside the muffler without cutting it apart.

Pop rivet a plate over the holes in the baffle and sparky. Both are not OEM...

That'll quiet it down...

I managed to close up all the holes and it seems a little quieter.
