Hello from the republic of Maryland

Har har, new guy just picked up a 2012.

Hoping to learn and share as much as possible.

Went out and put about 95 miles on the bike. Drained the oil and filled up with some Yamalube 20w50 and OEM filter. Ready for full time duty .

Loving the bike, my only negative comment is the factory mirrors .

Looking good! What part of Maryland are you from? If you ever need a group of guys to ride dual sports and other events with, check out DAMN Riders. Great local club, lots of rides and they hit up most of the local AMA events and have their own rides too. They're who I rode with when I lived down there.

I am down in the southern part by the Naval air station. I see you are in Alaska, i bet thats a fun place when it comes to dual sport stuff.
