| Someone on another board was nice enough to post the part numbers for the white bodywork only available in certain countries... Maybe they could post it here as well - perhaps also the part numbers for the '09 WR-X black plastic and (hopefully) the yellow plastic available only in Japan... If so - many, many thanks in advance... | |

| Are there any aftermarket plastics that fit our bikes yet? Or are the only replacement plastics from Yamaha?
Thanks Lance | |

| I don't think we can get the white here in US until the '10 X plastics become available. | |

| Im actually after the Blue replacement plastics - they seem a lot more expensive in Australia than they do in the US as you can see by the Aussie pricelist above.
Is there somewhere that has a price list for US?

| OUCH!!!!!!! That's some serious cabbage! The worst part is the decals are the most expensive part! - Louisbiker wrote:

| For an off-road bike....I skipped the wet sanding and the primer. Just straight Krylon Fusion right on the plastic. Sanding and primer is over-kill in my opinion. A simple get-off on a trail, or some rocks kicked up while off-roading and a scratch appears. Krylon Fusion is designed to just be sprayed right onto plastic with minimal prep work. Just a good cleaning surface and your clear for take-off. _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| I've used the stuff before on a synthetic shotgun stock. A little orange peel like texture. Doesn't level out as smooth as Dupli-color does. | |

| Hi all, I am actually wanting to replace the plastics not paint as they are pretty badly damaged. Certainly prepared to ask for some assistance from our US or European friends to assist - as your prices appear much much cheaper than Australia - even after shipping! I was quoted today for a front fender at $168 AUD Im after in the standard blue both radiator shrouds, front fender and the light shroud. Its all beyond paint :( Thanks | |

| Might try checking the classified section on this site. Someone may have take-off parts for sale or you could post a wanted ad for the parts. | |
