Painted Exhaust Guard

looks good. I painted the exhaust guards on my WRR flat black the second day I had it. Black definitely looks better that that goldish silver color. Are you going to do the header shield too?

I was looking at that as I was putting the exhaust guard back on.

Nice job!! Yeah it really sets it off painted black....a GYTR sticker would look good on there.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, but thanks. I like it. Certainly better than the stock color.

Makes me yearn to start eliminating the "Yamaha Blue" sooner, rather than later.

I think the next step that would make it look really sharp would be to paint the white side plastics. The blue and black look good together.

It's looking real slick! Amazing what a little bit of paint will do to a bike.

It's like a chess game. Do I take something off bike and change it? Do I ride it like it's stolen?

That rear "fender" area needs attention. Badly.

I hear you on the tail though. That's by far the worst part of the bike. I haven't taken the time to look at it too seriously though. Maybe in a few months when the sledders start but I haven't quite gone into hibernation.

Motokid did you use some kind of heat resistant paint for the heat shields, I was thinking of doing mine more black and blue, thats kind of the color I turn when I do a get off. I read you use krylon for the plastic parts, cheer`s Oh ya bikes looking good.
