| It'll be perfect. I believe in the UK you can also get the wr125x too right? Or at least used ones.... _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| Nice user name I think you will do fine on a WR/X. These are great engines but very forgiving and easy to ride. | |

| I think the main reason you'll find that some say it's not a good beginner bike is the seat height. If it's too high for you to be comfortable when you come to a stop or whatnot, it might turn you off to riding. If it matters in your case, there are options available to lower the seat height: lowering - click me. | |

| I am in the uk and have just bought a wrx, I have had all sorts of road bikes , r6's vfr's rvf's and lots of trail bikes. I really like the wrx, it's great for short trips and weaving in and out of traffic but does not have much go after 75/80 miles an hour, you can get caught out easily if the car you are over taking decides to put its foot down. ! The ride height is not bad on the wrx with the 17 inch supermoto wheels plus you can loose an inch with the adjuster on the rear suspension. | |

| I wouldnt worry too much over mileage. These things will run forever. I personally was looked for a modded one when I was shopping. You can beat the crap out of these bikes and as long as you stay up on maint. it will serve you well. | |

| Not familiar with the Euro >USD conversion, nor the prices they go for over there. Sorry. Just keep you eye on the classifieds to get an idea of what is a fair price. | |

| You'll enjoy the little WRX, it's an easy low maintenance bike bike that won't get away from you. Be warrned if you fall for it, it's like a woman, you'll spend a fortune on jewellery for it ! | |

| One with a pipe and programmer would be preferable. Youll most likely want them after a month or two of ownership and they will cost you around $400 out of pocket, but if you can find a bike with them already on it, it shouldnt cost any more than a bone stock one. | |
