I just captured a similar run on my largely stock WR250R (with 47T rear sprocket) - that involved a running start from about 18km/hr to 100 km/hr (10 mph - 62 mph) - using my new Sony DSC-HX20V digital camera sitting on a Drift GoPro Mount Adaptor and connected to a GoPro Chest Mount filmed in 1080P 60FPS. It appears to take about 7.5 to 8.0 seconds for the run. I suspect with the street tires on the WR-X, it is able to put the power to the pavement a bit better.
Here is a compressed version of the video, encoded in 1080P @30FPS in Windows Media (.wmv) format from my DropBox account if you are curious about the setup.

Today, I configured my Samsung Galaxy S Glide to work with a bluetooth GPS (BT 818XT) receiver using the Android app called Dynomaster. It will be interesting to see whether this setup will yield accurate and consistent performance data.
Oic0 - I would be curious to see your results using a street-start (5 mph - 60 mph) run.
