Loose battery terminal did the same to mine. I already had a speedodrd installed to correct the speedo error after changing sprockets. The speedodrd has a function where you can multiply or divide the signal by any number between 0 and 99. Dividing by 2.5 got me within 10%. A new gauge cluster is supposed to fix it also, but I've never heard that confirmed. New gauges run $280 or so. Speedodrd is about 90. I have not found a downside to it yet.

12 O'clock labs makes them. They are a nice alternative to a speedohealer. Plug play install. A little hard to adjust at first because there is a single button and a couple flashing LEDs for controls.
i've got the 12o'clock Labs speedo healer and it works great...once you learn it, set it and forget it....good for when you change sprocket size/ratio or different tires.......or fixing the "stock" error...

Can you get it straight from them or so you have to go through a dealer?

Yes, buy it direct from them. Good customer service. Just Google 12O'clock labs.
