stock tach option?

so I was just surfing the web and stumbled across that one youtube video where the guy changes his cluster to be able to read as a tachometer, and CO..?

can i do this on my 2011 wrx?

i dont wanna mess with the CO....What does CO mean? correction? a/f mapping or something?

If I can do this on my bike how do i go about doing it.

I was messing around with it and all a sudden is showed the word CODES or somthing.
