Nice shots.

What's the off-road riding scene like out in Washington?

There is lots of great off road riding in Washington. Everything from Rain Forest and Ocean Beaches to mountains and deserts.

I live in Dupont down by Tacoma. I don't see many WRs (yet). I don't have a truck but would love get out to eastern washington. I'll be hitting Capital Forest as a newby. I grew up in the desterts of Az. Have fun.

From what I've read and seen on video and from chatting with people who live out that a'way, it seems like an off-road haven compared to out here, the over-regulated Northeast.

I need to move to a more open and dirt-bike-friendly state with some great terrain to ride before I get too old to ride a dirt bike the way I want to. :)

We have a Daul Sport meet up group on Meetup.com with lots of riders. We organize a variety of rides from single track to large adventure bike type rides in both Eastern and Western Washington. Your are welcome to join us.

I went a little crazy ordering Wolfman Luggage for my little Yamaha! I think I know have the appropriate bag for every type of ride I want to do with the bike.

Your bike looks great. I have all the same bags, and they work really well on the WR.

I've had a 2013 for about a month or so and been having a great time. Had a cruiser for about 5 years before and a KLR for a year before that. Are you running a EFI controller on your pipe? Got mine because I wanted to save some money on gas and go offroad when possible...(a lot harder than I thought with a second wife and kids from both marriages !! ) Would love to pick your brain on different rides for this style of bike.
