Have any of you experience with this on your WRs?

If my bike sits for a few hours and I start it up, there is a rattle or ticking noise for 2 or 3 seconds and just vanishes. Almost sounds like a skid plate or heat shield type of rattle. I do not have a skid plate.

I am thinking it's the timing chain tensioner, since this resembles this type of symptom. Just thought I would ask others if they are experiencing this.

Bike info:
2008 WR250x
No mods
10,000k miles
oil changes every 2k miles with valvoline 10-40
Most recent oil change 1000 miles ago.
Oil levels are fine.

I think I've found the answer to my problem.

Found this thread in our forum. I guess I need a new chain.
