I lived in Whitefish from 1993 to 1997, on the river directly across from the railroad's turn house. I return to the Flathead every year as I still have many friends there. Well except maybe this year. Doc says at least another MONTH of healing. 10 Aug 09 Going To The Sun 635601

St. Mary's to West Glacier is a fun road but you have to be careful on that one.

So that's what it looks like without the fog, hail, rain, lightning from our ride in late June... It eventually cleared at the top.
