Waddya mean, on ADV; I'm here too
Here's a pair of DOT-rated trials-type tyres mounted on my WRR (heading over Tincup Pass on Sat afternoon):
Oops, can't see the tyres. Try this one:
The reason I say 'trials-type' is that the DOT-rated tyres are not really actual trials tyres. They just look like trials tyres. The rubber is quite a bit harder on the DOT-rated tyres and the rear tyres are bias ply, unlike real trials tires, which are radial. But for the sake of brevity, I'll just call 'em trials tyres like everyone else. (scuse me - trials tires).
Here is what is on the MT43:

That "64P" is the speed and load rating. I'll find my speed rating chart and post it up ASAP (see below), but as I recall, they're rated in the 80-90 MPH range.
On my ride Saturday, I was hitting 50 MPH on the paved road near the Taylor Park Trading Post - runs just fine. I can't begin to approach that with my CRF230F with an IRC TR-011 'real' trials tire on it. The CRF wiggles badly at anything over 40.

Wow - P is rated 94 MPH. That's fast enough for me.
