Are you guys running hand guards on your X?

Which ones, and why?

I kinda like the look, and I think once the weather cools down a bit they might come in handy for keeping the hands a bit more protected from the cold. (is that some kind of crazy logic?)

I run Zeta barkbusters and the flasher handguards on my R², I ride in the winter and they do buff off a lot of wind. Mind you I also threw on some heated grips and wear Klim sled gloves, but if I can ride out there in -10ºC I'm not complaining. thumb

Did anyone find a need to add a relay in the wiring of the new LED guard signals?

Like the over all look of the entire change. Actually by adding more it seems cleaner.

Now I must do something about my rear end.

+1. Motostrano had them on clearance a few months ago.

They definitely offer protection, although I had to bend my left one back into shape after a 20-ish mph highside. baldy Still have it, though.

For weather protection, they're too far away from the hands and too small to help much. I want heated grips for the winter.
