This is my first post on the forum. I have looked up lots of things on the forum the last month or so and decided to create an account and post a few pictures of my "babies". I originally bought the WR450 about a year ago to make it a supermoto and got a deal on some wheels when I purchased the YZ450F. The WR250X was my girlfriends but she wanted to buy a new car and the drivers are nuts here in southern AZ so I bought it from her. It had pro taper bars and a Yamalink lowing link other than that its stock. I have painted the exhaust shields black since everything else is and put on a set of moose racing hand guards. Today I should receive my under the bar mirrors. Call me insane but I love this little bike even after getting off my 450! I have no idea what it is but I can still enjoy it.  freaky

Future mods include installing the under bar mirrors that came in yesterday, 48 toot rear sprocket and speeddrd ordered today, DIY skateboard axle sliders ordered today, some sort of DIY whale tale modification, smaller front turning signals, and Fuel tuner combined with uncorked exhaust and intake until I get a pipe!  beavis Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated!

Wow, I'm jealous. If you read on the forums youll find that a pipe and programmer turns the wr into a whole new machine. You can get rid of the AIS kit for under 20 dollars which will lighten up the bike. Also, the xup servo that runs the valve in your exhaust can be removed also with a sub plug. All this stuff is searchable and fairly easy to do. Really makes the bike a lot better. Also, shorter gearing is very cheap and makes a large difference. The WR has looooong gears stock.

48 tooth sprocket, chain, and SpeedoDRD came in today so I know what I'll be doing after work! They choke these things so much! I expect a fairly big gain with the gearing and exhaust/tuner when I bite the bullet and spend the money. With all the bikes it's hard to spend large amounts of money on just one. However I will admit this one has been getting some special treatment lately! Can't wait to install the sprocket tonight and see what gears i'll be able to wheelie in. The PO gave me a exup plug eliminator. If the gearing doesn't keep me semi satisfied for now i'll buy a tuner and uncork exhaust, intake, and remove AIS to keep me content until a pipe has to be put on!  Peace YAM
