Good morning from Winnipeg, or better known as Winterpeg.

Currently I own, a 2006 Kawasaki Super Sherpa and pair of show bikes, a 1978 Yamaha XS650 SP and a 1967 Honda CD125A. After selling off most of my bikes this year, which included a 2010 HD Heritage Softail, a 2007 Super Sherpa, a 1983 RZ350 (show bike), a 1980 Honda C70 Cub (show bike) and a 2011 BMW R1200 GS, I thought I would take on another project.

So I purchased a 2009 WR250R, on a recomendation from a friend that this was the bike for me. A fun toy to take in the truck or on the trailer to places that offer decent riding. You know, like MOAB Utah, which I have done a couple of times now and really enjoy.

So I figured I should join the forum as I am going to need some expertise to get this WR250R running properly.

You've got some interesting bikes! I've heard good things about the Super Sherpas.

First thing I did with the WR was lower the gearing and install a Dunlop D606 rear tire. Huge improvement off road.

Hope you enjoy the WR!

Dave
