Spent a day up at the girlfriend's house in Clayton, GA doing some riding in the area.
Got up there Friday night and picked up some lobster and beer (one of the rider decided to feed us with lobster that was steamed in beer). Had another rider meet us Saturday morning. There ended up being 5 of us total on this ride.
We woke up Saturday morning an it was 15F outside so we decided to take is slow and drive into town for some breakfast before hitting the trails. Around noon it was starting to get to the mid 40's so we decided to take off.
Had a great time although I would always seem to get a pretty cold draft going down my chest whenever I was standing up on the bike - probably should have added another layer. One of the more interesting things of the day is that all the mudholes out there had become Iceholes and some of them were covered with either dirt or leaves which made for some interesting riding at times. We did have one guy do down pretty hard when he got caught in a rut which was frozen hard like concrete but he picked himself and the bike up and all was good.
Should have taken more pics but was having too much fun riding.
Great area to ride around and we are planning a few more trips up there.
BTW the Lobster steamed in Beer was very good. On top of that one of the other riders brought some homemade venison chili. We ate very well that night!
